论美国华裔文学中“根意识”的嬗变
On Evolution of “Root Consciousness”in Chinese American Literature
摘要
Abstract
As an important part of American minority ethnic literature,Chinese American literature,which initia-ted from the “Angel Island ”poetry including the earlier Songs ofGolden Mountains and Island:Poetry of Chinese Immigrants in the 19th century and came to a rise in 1970s,has held the stage of American classic literature any-way.It has realistically mirrored the development of Chinese immigrants in America.Due to American exclusion, repression and hostility,Chinese immigrants and their descendents are greatly aware of race and identity.China as well as Chinese culture is always their indispensable “root”,while this “root consciousness”,changing with their special experiences in America,has formed their unique ethnic experience.关键词
