Abstract
The conventional closure method of continuous rigid frame bridge is to pour segment of side span first, and then the closure segment. The special closure method of a five-span prestressed continu-ous rigid frame bridge is both the two sides′egments are poured at the same time, which is studied in the article. A finite element numerical model is built for calculation which can reflect its unconventional clo-sure order. According to the comparison between the conventional and unconventional closure methods, it can be found that by the using of the unconventional closure method, relatively better linearity of main beam and more coordinated top displacement of the pier can be obtained through timely and effective con-struction control, reasonable values of pre-cast and reasonable construction measures while the closure of secondary side span, and also safety during construction and using period can be ensured.关键词
