Abstract
As road congestion increases, a bus travel planning system based on road congestion informa-tion is established for guiding users to avoid congested roads. The index system of road congestion is ana-lyzed, the congestion parameter indexes for roads and intersections are selected, a simple method for counting traffic light waiting times is put forward, and a congestion index algorithm for the bus travel plan-ning scheme is proposed. Taking Jiaxing as an example, SQL+IIS+ASP+Android technology is used to build the C/S-structure dynamic bus travel planning system based on road congestion information. The system recommends bus travel plan which could guide users to avoid congested roads, as well as to ad-vance travel efficiency and to reduce travel time. The implementation of the system for the public provides more comprehensive bus travel information and more convenient access to information.关键词
