Abstract
In order to solve the problem existing in the current rural traffic safety, the paper analyzed the influence of different road condition on traffic safety and proposed different design strategy of each road condition. Based on unreasonable routes of rural highway, unqualified material and low strength of sub⁃grade and pavement, the non-standard structure of side ditch, the inadequate design of bridge and culvert width and the defect of protection facilities, the status of intersections which were lack of marking, signal control and effective horizon, the influence scope and degree of traffic safety were given. According to road condition effecting traffic safety above, the paper put forward the corresponding design countermea⁃sures, which could improve the traffic operation condition of rural highway in mountainous rural areas, bridges, culverts and intersection.关键词
