Abstract
Objective:To know about grasping state and implementation of related knowledge of nurses on breast self examination.Methods:Self designed questionnaire was used and a total of 150 female nurses in a third - grade A hospital in Guangzhou were investigated according to cluster sampling method.Results:The score of breast self-examination related knowledge of nurses was 54.89 ±18.17.And the score of nurses in department of gynecology and obstetrics was higher than that of nurses in other departments(P <0.05).14.0% nurses had breast self examina-tion monthly,while 86.0% nurses did it occasionally or didn’t do it at all.Conclusion:The grasping state and implementation state of nurse on breast self examination related knowledge are not good enough.We should strengthen reinforce the importance of breast self examination missionary for nurses and enhance nurses’emphasis on breast self ex-amination.关键词
