Physical simulation and experimental research on the cutting process of Cr12MoV
摘要
Abstract
Based on the finite element simulation of orthogonal turning process of Cr 12MoV cold work tool steel ,the process from local shear instability of chip to fracture was modeled ,the temperature of tool and workpiece together with the residual stress of machined surface were predicted .The CAD model of ball end mill was built through Pro/E software.The physical simulation mod-el of ball end milling process of Cr 12 MoV was established based on the CAD model .The temperature and cutting force of the cut-ting edge was predicted .The milling experiment was done in three-axis numerical control center and the real cutting force was measured using the KISTLER 9257 B dynamometer to validate the simulation result .关键词
