Simulation and analysis of the effect of torsionally flexible frame on rollover of tractor semi-trailer
摘要
Abstract
The rigid tractor semi-trailer model with rigid body of tractor and trailer is established .Considering the torsion of the body,a torsionally flexible tractor semi-trailer model is derived by dividing each sprung mass into front and rear parts and com -bined together .The equations of the models are transferred into state space models to establish simulation models in MATLAB . They are simulated under step steering input and fishhook input .The lateral load transfer and suspension angle of tractor front axle of the torsionally flexible model are greater than the rigid model while the lateral load transfer and suspension angle of the tractor rear axle and trailer axle are smaller .It can be concluded from the results that the torsion of the body of tractor semi -trailer has a great effect on rollover .关键词
