涂层Si3N4陶瓷刀具切削性能研究
Cutting Performance of Coated Si3N4 Ceramic Cutting Tool
摘要
Abstract
This paper studied the cutting performance of TiN+Al2O3 coated silicon nitride tool when machining gray cast iron(HT250) on different cutting parameters, using tool microscope, SEM/EDS technology to analysis the wear mechanisms of the worn tool after test, the work also adopt the same substrate nitride tool as a comparative analysis. The results showed that the TiN+Al2O3 coated nitride tool can bear larger cutting parameter than the uncoated one, it has a significant meaning to improve the machining efficiency. The main failure form of coated silicon nitride cutting tools were abrasive wear and adhesion wear,rake face also can appear crater by the chemical wear when under the condition of high cutting speed.关键词
