摘要

Abstract

SF6 gas leakage occurred in gas insulated switchgear (GIS) can lead to insulation degradation and serious pollution on atmospheric environment. Based on the specific infrared absorption spectrum of SF6 gas, infrared imaging method can make the leakage gas clearly visible. Infrared imaging application can rapidly and accurately locate leakage position for on-line equipments. It was concluded from a complex case of 220kV GIS equipment that infrared imaging application was safe and effective for SF6 gas leakage,and could provide sufficient information for the maintenance strategy of gas leaking equipment.
