摘要

Abstract

The tested goats were fed with basic diet rice straw supplemented with 25%( treatment MSL25),50%( treatment MSL50)and 75%(treatment MSL75)of alfalfa hay(Medicago sativa L. ,MSL)respectively,and the associative effects of differ-ent diet treatments on the rumen protein microcirculation efficiency and daily body weight gain of goats were studied. The results showed that both the phagocytosing quantity and the phagocytosing rate of rumen protozoa on bacteria generally decreased with the in-crease in supplementary level of MSL,but they were not significantly different between treatment MSL50 and treatment MSL75. In all treatments,the phagocytosing quantity and phagocytosing rate of rumen protozoa on bacteria reached a peak at 60 min. The daily body weight gain and total body weight gain of goats in different treatments all revealed the following order:MSL25 ﹤MSL50 ﹤MSL75. Among three treatments,the required feed amount per unit gain of goats in treatment MSL50 was the least,and the feed cost per unit gain was the lowest. Therefore,it was concluded that supplementing the basic diet rice straw with 50% of MSL could increase the rumen protein microcirculation efficiency of goats,improve their body weight gain performance,and reduce feed cost.
