Abstract

Using the major meteorological data in term of temperature , sunshine duration and rainfall during 1961~2000 in Wumeng tobacco-growing area of Guizhou province , the author analyzed the characteristics of climatic factors changes at flue -cured tobacco growth stage .The results indicated that Wumeng tobacco -growing area was provided with adequate sunshine duration and rainfall, but its average air temperature was relatively low .The air temperature was relatively stable among different years , while the sunshine duration and rainfall fluctuated largely among different years .Linear trend analysis showed that the air temperature at tobacco vigorous growth stage (June) had a significant upward trend, but that at tobacco initial maturing stage (July) dropped sig-nificantly.In growth and developmental period of flue -cured tobacco, the monthly sunshine duration showed a decreasing trend , and this trend was obvious in July;the rainfall revealed a declining trend in May and June , and showed an increasing trend in July and August , but the linear variation trend of monthly rainfall was not significant .Mutation analysis showed that: in the past 40 years, during the growth and development of flue -cured tobacco in this area , the air temperature and sunshine duration appeared an obvious mutation in the year 1998 and 1985, respectively, while the rainfall did not appear marked mutation .
