摘要

Abstract

In order to explore the response of long­term locust plantations to costal soil salinization, the differences in growth status and leaf characteristics among 3 locust plantations with different degradation degrees were compared in this paper. The results showed that the general growth status of locust plantations was less desirable, having a survival percentage of less than 70%, due to long­term soil salinization. Significant differences in DBH (diameter at breast height), tree height and canopy density were found among 3 locust plantations. The severely degraded locust plantation had a worse status of leaf nutrition, lower content of chlorophyll and weaker ability of stress tolerance, with enhanced ratio of bound water to free water in leaves, increased contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) and praline, and decreased activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD).
