Abstract
In order to understand the biomass and wood volume losses of Eucalyptus suffered by Buzura suppressaria, we had surveyed the victim’s stand and used the mathematical model to carry out the disaster losses. Results showed that the losses of eucalyptus biomass and wood volume were very obvious, especially for the moderate and severe injured eucalyptus, the biomass loss rate and volume loss rate reached 21.62%51.83%and 36.23%75.17%, respectively. In the production, when the pest density reached 6 insects per standard branch (50 cm) or more, chemical control measures should be taken to reduce the population density to avoid causing bigger loss.关键词
