基于声表面波原理的切削力测量智能刀具研究
Research on Force Measuring Smart Cutting Tool Based on Surface Acoustic Wave Resonator Principle

Abstract
The cutting force measurement is essential for monitoring machining process and achieving high precision mechanical parts, and at the same times, it provides processing parameters for self-adapting machining. A cutting force measuring smart cutting tool with surface acoustic resonator is investigated, and this tool can be used to realize real-time main cutting force measuring during machining process, which is characterisfic of wireless and passive measuring, and suitable for complex processing environment. The relationship model between cutting force and strain of the quartz substrate in surface acoustic wave resonator is established, and its resonant frequency is analyzed, then the relationship between cutting force and the resonant frequency shift of the resonator is ob-tained. Experimental results show that the smart cutting tool with surface acoustic wave resonator can be used to achieve real-time measuring of cutting force.关键词
