Abstract
Due to a cantilever structure, the drum assembly of front load washing machine has to stand a great stress and strain in the washing cycle and drying cycle. In this paper, 3D model and finite model of drum assembly are established respectively by using Proe and Workbech. Based on a hypothesis of eccentric load along the axial normal distribution, static analysis and modal analysis are done in the condition of rated drying speed and maximum laundry mass. According to the above analysis, stress distribution graph is obtained and the causes for stress concentration are found. Then some advices of reducing the stress concentration are giv-en. Also the first three fundamental resonant frequencies of drum assembly in different speed are obtained.关键词
