摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the expressions of hypoxia induced factor-lα(HIF-1α) and matrix metal-loproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in nasalpolyps tissues and their relationships with the infiltration of eosinophilic granulocyte (EOS) in nasalpolyps tissues .Methods During Oct .2010 and Dec .2012 ,nasal polyp tissues were collected from 31 patients with nasalpolyps treated with nasal endoscopy (observation group) ,and inferior turbinate mucosa were col-lected from 11 patients with chronic hypertrophic rhinitis treated with partial inferior turbinectomy (control group) . mRNA expression levels of HIF-1αand MMP-9 in tissue samples of the two groups were assayed .Amounts of cells and blood vessels positive with HIF-1α and MMP-9 ,and infiltration amounts of EOS were also detected .Results mRNA expression levels of HIF-1αand MMP-9 in observation group were higher than control group (P<0 .05) .The amounts of cells and blood vessels positive with HIF-1αand MMP-9 and the infiltration amounts of EOS in observa-tion group were also higher than control group (P<0 .05) .In observation group ,the amounts of cells positive with HIF-1αand MMP-9 were positively correlated with the infiltration amounts of EOS (with correlation coefficients of 0 .56 and 0 .88 respectively ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion Expression levels of HIF-1αand MMP-9 could be high in nasal-polyps tissues ,which might be closely related with the pathogenesis of nasalpolyps .
