Abstract
The early 21st century has witnessed a splendid cultural event-China Grand Canal’s bidding for world heritage and the conservation plans carried out around this. The author has been a part of this since the beginning of preparing the Standards for Stage I Conservation Plan of the Grand Canal Heritage. Now the conservation plan is completed and preparation work for the bid is now entering into a crucial phase. The author summarizes the characteristics of core technologies involved in the conservation plan and reflects on and analyzes the results already achieved, in order to provide lessons for heritage conservation of the similar kinds in future.关键词
