Polish Architecture in Transition-What is happening in Polish architecture today and who the players to watch are?

Abstract
This article is explaining the cur ent situation and chal enges in contemporary architecture in Poland. The biggest problem that Polish society is facing in recent years is lack of home, and poor social housing provided by the government. In turn, architecture and architects are gaining the significance among the society. Among the most influential architects in Poland today are Marek Budzyński, Robert Konieczny and Ingarden&Ewý. Analyse of two buildings designed by those architects’ shows that there are many interesting and innovative solutions in Polish architecture nowadays. In conclusion Polish architecture is cur ently under the transition but it has a potential, the biggest chal enge might be to open it.关键词
