Abstract
Today, with the rapid development of urbanization, there are many new urban areas are waiting for the construction. Therefore, in the planning period, it is has important signiifcance for the effectively predicting the future growth of health of the city. The Space Syntax is created by Professor Bil Hilier from London University in 1980th. It has provided a method which can be used in analysis space and it also has been widely used in Architecture nowadays. This paper has summarized the research results of other scholars and introduces the limitations and application methods of Space Syntax in road network ifrstly .Then use the segment map to analyze the trafifc network of Century city of Changfeng and found that the results of analysis and planning are basicaly the same. Overal, although the space syntax has its limitations, it stil helpful to urban planning. Therefore, we should be treated objectively to the results of analysis.关键词
