摘要
Abstract
Modern Meticulous-style painting is rising with noticeable attention. However, problems exist in such kind of painting as it deviates from the Chinese Imago Painting System. People, who embrace free sketch as a way to improve the meticulous-style painting, ignore the fact that both meticulous-style and free-sketch paintings, though with different characteristics inherently, belong to the same imago painting system. In the current paper, the relationships are discussed in details between meticulous-style and free-sketch paintings in the history of ancient painting. By analyzing large amounts of classical ancient meticulous-style painting, attention is also paid to five main imago characteristics of traditional meticulous-style of painting, with importance attached that modern meticulous-style painting agrees with Chinese Imago System.关键词
