Abstract
Kaolin, a superior resource in north Henan province , is kind of important non -metallic mineral resource .The ore bodies occur in upper part of Middle Benxi Group in Carboniferous sys-tem with characteristics of good minerogenetic conditions , stable horizon , large thickness and large prospective reserves .Because of the content of colored impurities like iron and titanium , its sinte-ring whiteness is decreased and other properties are greatly affected , which limit its industrial appli-cation.Therefore, the study on analysis of impurities and removal of them for whiteness improve-ment is critical in industry .A comprehensive study has been conducted on kaolin resources in north Henan province to explore new methods for kaolin resource utilization , and provide a scientific basis for mining resources planning and sustainable development of mining economics in this area .关键词
