Abstract
Traffic signal control system is essential for intersection, and is a major means of modern urban traffic control and guidance. This paper selects the intersection of Wushan Avenue and Cloud Island Bridge in Nanyang City as the research object, designs a new intersection traffic signal control scheme by using the classic Webster algorithm, based on the investigation of geometric structure, intersection signal timing and traffic flow. Fi-nally, this paper, by comparing the old and the new control schemes through the Vissim simulation software, con-cludes that the new control scheme in terms of delay, parking rate and capacity, is better than that of the current control plan.关键词
