Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of orthodontics, orthognathic surgery combined treatment of postoperative maxillofacial deformities in cleft lip/palate patients. Methods:From 2001-07—2012-07, 56 cases were retro-spectively reviewed. Orthognathic surgery and orthodontics measures were used to correct the postoperative deformities and followed-up for 6~24 months. Results: Cephalometric comparison before and after operation were analyzed, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 56 patients' facial appearance improved significantly, whose normal occlusion were established and without recurrences. Conclusion: Orthognathic surgery with preoperative and postoperative orthodontic treatment can obviously improve the postoperative facial deformities in cleft lip/palate patients.关键词
