Abstract
Objective: To discuss the clinical effect and value of piezosurgery in the enucleation of cysts of jaws. Methods: 58 patients of jaw cysts were divided into two groups, 29 patients in group A were extracted by piezosurgery and 29 patients in group B were extracted by traditional instruments. The operation time, the amount of bleeding, the degree of postoperative pain, wound healing and complications were compared. Results: The amount of bleeding, the degree of postoperative pain and soft tissue damage in group A were significantly less than those in group B. No significant difference of operation time was found between the two groups. All the wounds in two groups were healed by first intention. Conclusions:Piezosurgery can effectively reduce the operative complications.关键词
