Abstract
Objective:To report a multidisciplinary approach for prosthodontic rehabilitation in a young patient with ecto-dermal dysplasia. Methods:Autougenous iliac bone graft and guided bone regeneration was applied to gain the augmenta-tion of the crest of the jaws and enhancing of the intermaxillary relationship. Five and four implants were respectively in-serted into the maxilla and the mandible, after which the dentitions were restored with implant supported crown and bridge prosthetics. Results: Both with the application of autogenous bone graft and guided bone regeneration, the bone of the crest of the jaws was augmented and the intermaxillary relationship was also enhanced. Implants were successfully inserted and the integrality of the dentitions were approached by implant supported fixed partial dentures. Conclusion: Multidisi-plinary approach of autogenous bone graft,guided bone regeneration and other techniques could solve the bone inadequacy of the jaws for dental implant in patients with ectodermal dysplasia.关键词
