Abstract
Objective To provide the anatomic parameters and CT data of patients who diagnosed with recurrent uni-lateral patellar instability about knee joints for the tibial tuberosity-trochlear groove distance, and assess the difference between symptomatic knee and asymptomatic knee. Methods Thirty-four patients who diagnosed with recurrent uni-lateral patellar instability were involved in this study. CT scans were checked on both knees, and the data were ana-lyzed. Results Mean TT-TG distance in the symptomatic knee was (16. 47 ± 3. 87) mm, compared to (15. 61 ± 3. 52)mm in the asymptomatic knee(t = 1. 302,P > 0. 05). Tibial TT-TG was not significantly different between sta-ble and unstable knees. Conclusions The lack of difference in TT-TG distance between stable and unstable knees suggests that TT-TG distance alone may not be a decisive element in establishing therapeutic choices for patellar insta-bility.关键词
