摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of standardized initial periodontal treatment combined with surgical re-section on fibromatous epulis. Method:50 patients with fibromatous epulis were randomly divided into two groups: experi-mental group (25 cases)with standardized initial periodontal treatment combined with surgical resection,control group(25 cases)with supragingival scaling combined with surgical resection;each patient was re-examined both at 1 year after treat-ment,thus the therapeutic effects of each group were compared with one another. Result:After 1 year follow-up,there was no recurrence in the experimental group,while 14 cases of recurrence in the control group. There was statistically difference in experimental group compared with that in control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The standardized initial periodontal treat-ment combined with surgical resection showed better effectiveness in treatment of fibromatous epulis.关键词
