Effects of cigarette smoke on key molecules of NOD1 signaling in human oral mucosal epithelial cells
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effect of Cigarette Smoke on Key Molecules of NOD1 Signaling in human oral mucosal epithelial cells. Method:The cells were stimulated using a smoke chamber with cigarette smoke for different times (5、10、20、40、60 min) in certain experiments. The control group cells were cultured with 5 % CO2 for 10 min. The crucial protein expression in NOD1 Signaling was measured by Immunofluorescence assays. Result: Cigarette Smoke down-regu-lated NOD1 protein levels and up-regulated Caspase 12 and RIP2 protein in a time-dependent manner. The NF-κB protein level reached the peak level after stimulated for 10 mins. Conclusion:Cigarette smoke could play a inhibitory effects on NOD1 Signaling even innate immunity in human oral mucosal epithelial cells.关键词
