Abstract
Objective To study the effects and significance of intracranial pressure ( ICP ) monitoring in the treatment of acute severe traumatic brain injury .Methods 42 patients with severe traumatic brain injury were treated using ICP monitoring , the changes of intracranial pressure and clinical features were analyzed retrospectively .Results ICP of 5-15mmHg was in 5 cases, 16-20mmHg in 14, 21-40mmHg in 17 and 40mmHg in 6.ICP initial value associated with the mortality of patients , and was negatively correlated and the difference has statistical significance . Conclusion Patients with severe head injury by ICP monitoring has important value to determine the illness and treatment as early as possible .关键词
