Microsurgery treatment via transsylvian fissure-insular approach for hypertensive intracerebral hematoma in basal ganglia region

Abstract
Objective To study the therapeutic effects for cerebral hematomas in basal ganglia region by microsurgery via transsylvian fissure-insular approach .Methods The clinical data of 12 patients with intracerebral hematoma in basal ganglia region in acute stage were performed microsurgery via transsylvian fissure -inscular approach , were analyzed retrospectively .Results The CT scan after surgery showed the hematomas almost removed in 10 cases and 70% removed in 2.The GOS after follow up for 6 months ahowed good outcome was achieved in 8 cases,mild disability in 3, severe disability in 1 and no patient died after surgery .Conclusions Microsurgery treatment via transsylvian fissure-inscular approach for intracerebral hematoma in basal ganglia region has advantages such as minimal invasive and effective ,small damage of cortex of temporal lobe and vessels , improvement of prognoses .关键词
