Abstract
Objetive To investigate the changes of the percentages ofγδT cells and Foxp3 +Treg cells in the liver tissues of patients with biliary atresia(BA). Methods γδcells and Foxp3 +Treg cells were deter-mined in the portal tracts of patients of 23 cases BA patients and of the 12 cases from the control group using immunohistochemical staining and flow cytometry.The liver tissues lymphocytes were separated with Percoll Hypaque density gradient centrifugation.The proportion ofγδT cells and Foxp3+Treg cells were detected with flow cytometry. Results γδT cells and Foxp3 +Treg cells are scattered in the interface areas of inflamed portal tracts of BA livers.BA tissues contained more γδT cells and Foxp3 +Treg cells.The percentage ofγδT cells in the liver of BA patients were significantly elevated compared with the healthy controls.The percentage of Foxp3 +Treg cells decreased in the liver of BA patients compared with healthy controls.There was significant negative correlation between the percent ofγδT cells and the percent of Foxp3 +Treg cells in BA patients(P<0.05).Conclusions The up-regulation of liverγδT cells in BA patients might cause the down-regulation of liver Foxp3 +Treg cells,thus contributes to the occurrence of the disease.关键词
