隐形人工鼻泪管置入与鼻腔泪囊吻合术治疗慢性泪囊炎238例对比研究

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of two different methods on treating chronic dacryocystitis -dacryo-cystorhinostomy and lacrimal stent .Methods A hundred sixty-two patients (238 eyes) with chronic dacryocystitis were divided into two groups either received dacryocystorhinostomy (group A, 50 eyes) or received lacrimal stent (group B, 188 eyes).The occurrence of epiphora and syringing of the lacrimal passage were observed at the sixth month after the opera -tion.Results In group A there were 46 eyes cured (92%), whereas in group B there were 170 eyes cured (90.4%). There is no significant difference between group A and group B ( P >0.05).Conclusion Lacrimal stenting is a much better choice for aged patients .Lacrimal stenting does not need incision and leaves no scar on face .It is also easier to oper-ate, and is the ideal method for treating chronic dacryocystitis nowadays .关键词
