Abstract
Objective To discuss the application and therapeutic? efficacy? of retinal breaks localization and cryocoagulation under direct surgical microscope visualization in external route rhegmatogenous retinal detachment surger -ies.Methods Totally 35 patients received external route surgery for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment .Standard proce-dures included scleral buckling , subretinal fluid release , localization of retinal breaks under direct vision with surgical mi-croscope , and cryocoagulation .Results All 35 cases had accurate scleral buckling pad position and favorable retinal reat-tachment without inflammatory reactions .Optical coherence? tomography? ( OCT ) showed that up to 6 months after the surgery, there was no macular sub-retinal edema in 34 cases.Conclusion Localization of retinal breaks under direct sur-gical microscope visualization provides accurate positioning and reliable outcomes .关键词
