Abstract
Objective To investigate the causes of the low vision in the cataract patients after phacoemulsification using optical coherence tomography (OCT).Methods Sixty-eight patients (68 eyes) with low vision after cataract opera-tion were examined with OCT , and the causes of low vision were analyzed .Results In 68 eyes, 19 eyes were found to have senile macular degeneration , including dry AMD ( n =11) and wet AMD ( n =8).Fifteen eyes were found to have diabetic retinopathy , 14 eyes had high myopia retinopathy , 10 eyes had macular epiretinal membrane , 4 eyes had retinal vein occlusion , 3 eyes had macular hole , 1 eye had retinal detachment , and 2 eyes were normal in OCT examination .Con-clusion OCT is a new technology of retinal tomography with high-resolution.It is very valuable in the early diagnosis of the causes of low vision in the cataract patients after phacoemulsification .Senile macular degeneration , diabetic retinopathy and high myopia retinopathy are of the most important causes of low vision .关键词
