Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D]level and diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetics.Methods 239 diabetic hospitalized patients were enrolled into the study . They were divided into normoalbuminuria group , microalbuminuria group and macro-albuminuria group according to the ratio of urinary albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR).All patients were divided into vitamin D deficiency (<20μg/L) group and vitamin D insufficiency(≥20-<30μg/L) group according to the level of 25(OH)D=20μg/L.The incidence of albuminuria between the two groups was compared .Results Compared with the patients in normoalbu-minuria group,patients in microalbuminuria group and macroalbuminuria group showed a lower level of serum 25 (OH)D(P <0.01).Compared with the patients in microalbuminuria group ,patients in macroalbuminuria group showed a lower level of serum 25(OH)D (P<0.01).The incidence of albuminuria in vitamin D deficiency group and vitamin D insufficiency group was 68.5%and 39.4%(P<0.01),respectively.Correlation analysis revealed that the level of serum 25 ( OH) D was negatively correlated with UACR .Conclusion The reduction of vitamin D level in vivo may be associated with the development of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus .关键词
