摘要

Abstract

Radar image simulation is an important part of radar system simulation,and the generation of high fidelity radar image based on digital terrain is a hotspot in radar image simulation research.A radar im-age simulating method based on software and digital terrain is described in this paper.Fidelity of image and speed of loading data are effectively improved by transformation of digital terrain format and terrain texture in the pre-processing stage.Structure of simulation and design of software are described in detail as well.Result shows that,this method can generate radar images of high fidelity with higher efficiency.It provides a new method of radar simulator designed for engineering.
