论沈从文对国民性的反思与重建方略
Shen Congwen’s Reflection on and His Reconstruction Strategies for National Characteristics

Abstract
Shen Congwen's aesthetic reflection on modernism was mainly reflected in his aesthetic responses to Xiangxi and his dual criticism on modern Chinese rural and urban culture. He focused his dual criticism on the reflection on and the reconstruction of Chinese national characteristics. He analyzed the manifestation and ideological roots of Chinese national characteristics. Based on the analysis,he proposed specific aesthetic redeeming solutions to the problems of national characteristics. The aesthetic redeeming solutions implied his pondering over the issues related with the revival of Chinese nation and had their own distinct realistic pertinence. His reflection on and his construction of national characteristics reflected the fusion of his cultural horizon and the establishment of his historical rationality,manifested his realistic creation ideal,and marked the maturity of his cultural and artistic ideas.关键词
