Abstract
Objective To analyse the mortality,death causes and trends to children under five years old of Sanmenxia city between the years of 2004 ~201 3 ,proposed interventions; Methods The data of 1 295 death children under the age of five during 2004-201 3 year were retrospectively analyzed. Results Child mortality rates decreased from 1 1 .81‰ in 2004 to 5 .26‰ in 201 3 ,child mortality was downward trend for each year.neonatal deaths accounted for 78.65 ~65.96% of infant mortality,infant mortality accounted for 90.82%~78.43% of children under five mortality and 1 to 4 years old child deaths accounted for 9.20% ~21 .67% of children under 5 years old. Conclusion The leading cause of death in children under five years of age is premature or low birth weight and birth asphyxia and pneumonia.Consolidate and improve maternal and child health three-level network and strengthening the perinatal health care,improving the level of obstetric skills and enhance the ability to critically ill patients with emergency,popularize the knowledge of maternal and child health is the key to reducing the mortality rate of maternal and children under the age of five.关键词
