Abstract
Description of the Barbarians of the Isles ,w ritten by Wang Dayuan ,is an important literature on the Chinese mari‐time history .A lot of people study this book ,but few people focus on the versions .The present article studies the whole story of Description of the Barbarians of the Isles ,analyzes that Dao Yi Zhi and Dao Yi Zhi Lue all refer to the same book and the author is Wang Dayuan ,mainly investigates versions ,Annotations ,and circulation of Description of the Barbarians of the Isles ,and contemplates the influence of it .关键词
