Abstract
There are three pieces of practical experience in the column construction of “Study on Dongting Lake” in “Transactions of Yueyang Polytechnic”. Firstly, it has a clear purport to set the column and some distinctive characteristics, specifically, exploring the branch superiority on which the column relies on, emphasizing on the regional characteristics of the column, making clear the purport to set the column and giving importance to its characteristics. Secondly, it adjusts the coverage and expands its connotation, including expanding the connotation of the column and dispatching articles in the thematic style. Thirdly, it adapts the situation and further highlight its features, including increasing the amount of the articles in the column and percentage of funded papers, improving the quality of papers in order to expand the social impact, enhancing epochal character of academic research. With the introduction of “Study on Dongting Lake”, the author tries to show that the transactions in vocational colleges should rely on the professional and academic characteristics of their own college and combine with the regional culture or economic characteristics of geographical area to create the characteristic columns, and then create transactions with a prominent personality and a distinctive features in vocational colleges.关键词
