摘要

Abstract

The nonlinear finite element analysis based on damage constitutive relations can accurately sim-ulate the actual performance of arch dam;the dam safety evaluation is made according to the distortion, damage,and distribution and size of stress of the dam. But there are also some problems. For example, when taking relative damage area in foundation plane as control index,the allowable damage area in foun-dation plane has to be determined at first. This paper first introduces the damage constitutive relations, presents the determination method for foundation plane allowable relative damage area with constant dam overall stiffness,and provides a new control standard for damage constitutive relation in high arch dam safety evaluation. The calculation is checked with the case of Xiluodu high arch dam.
