Abstract
Social benefit is very complex from the perspective of risky society,thus the phenomenon that the disad-vantaged groups try to protect their own benefits with the help of the media has become very common. However, when the media are acting as a“safety valve”,they also have some irrational behaviors to various degrees,namely, the media’s“standing in line”phenomenon. Such factors as the self-role cognition deviation,the force of virtual field of public opinion and prior experience in media primitive accumulation exert great influence on the“standing in line”phenomenon. From the view of a risky society,the demonizing construction of media image,the emotionally selective news report and qualitative modeling lead to the alienation of media’s cognition-shaping function and the polarization of public response. Therefore,in order to eliminate gradually the media’s“standing in line”behavior and decrease the hidden danger in risky society,the media should report in a rational way to make self-adjustment.关键词
