Health-promoting Effect of Preventive Treatment of Disease on Sub-healthy Group
摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of preventive treatment of disease on improving sub-healthy status and to discuss the advantages and significance of traditional Chinese medicine in recuperating sub-health status. Methods 80 sub-healthy cases in health examination were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 40 cases in each group. After conventional western medical health examination and Chinese constitution identification, subjects in observation group were given individual health guidance according to different constitutions, while those in control group only participated in conventional western medical health examination and were given conventional health guidance. Subjects took part in the health examination again after the initial examination one year later and Sub-health Status Questionnaire (SHSQ-25) was applied to assess the subjects ’ sub-health status. Results After one year of health guidance, the scores of fatigue, cardiovascular system, digestive tract, immune system, and mental status and the total score of observation group were lower and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05), while in control group, only scores of cardiovascular system, digestive tract and the total score were lower and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); intergroup comparison indicated that scores of fatigue, immune system, and mental status and the total score of observation group were lower than those of control group which was statistically significant( P<0.05). 17 cases recovered in observation group while only 5 in control group and chi-square test showed there was good effect of in observation group ( χ2=5.206, P=0.023). Conclusion The health guidance based on Chinese constitution identification helps to improve sub-health status especially to improve fatigue and mental status and enhance immunity, which is worth to be promoted clinically.关键词
