Core Competence Display of Nurse Specialists in ICU
摘要
Abstract
Objective To understand core competence display of nurse specialists in ICU, to improve training for nurse specialist and to provide reference for management of nurse specialists. Methods With a self-designed questionnaire, 236 ICU nurse specialists after specific training were investigated. Results Fifty-eight nurses shifted their role as head nurses or clinical teachers after the training, accounting for 24.6% and 92.2% of the nurses regarded that the training contributed greatly to the improvement of their theoretical knowledge and operating skill. Half of the nurses participated in scientific activities and 12.2% applied for scientific projects. Conclusion Nurse specialists in ICU play a key role in clinical nursing, however, it is indispensible to improve nurses ’ research abilities and to provide more training for them.关键词
