Abstract
Objective To probe into the ways to reduce disqualified blood, and to explore key points in feedback to blood donors for institutions of blood donation. Methods All information of voluntary donors who were disqualified from blood donation in Guangzhou from 2011 to 2013 was analyzed. Results The disqualified rate of blood donation from voluntary donors was 4.51%and no changes were found in terms of the proportions of gender (male:80.22%), educational background of the donors during recent three years. The distribution of ages showed positive skewed (median: 28, QR:23-35 )and the medians increased with the change of time. The proportion of first-time donor and the positive rate of HBsAg increased and that of anti-HIV decreased. Conclusion Causes of disqualified blood need to be published timely and the registration of individual information should be improved. Then remedial measures should be suggested to avoid blood waste.关键词
