摘要
Abstract
Objective To understand the status quo of the ability to nurse critically ill patients of nurses with service length within one decade and the influence of shift change and random ward round on it. Methods There were twenty-five nurses with service length within one decade and conventional shift change was performed from July to December 2013. While from January to June 2014, in addition to conventional shift change, random ward round was added. Two kinds of shift changes were compared for its influence on the ability to nurse critically ill patients of nurses. Results After the implementation of shift change combined with random ward round, nurses with service length within one decade performed better in terms of the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients, positive sign, risk assessment, dynamic condition observation, key nursing point in each shift and nursing knowledge ( P<0.05). Conclusion Shift change with random ward round is effective for the enhancement of ability to nurse critically ill patients of nurses with service length within one decade and the improvement of nursing quality.关键词
