General Well-Being of ICU Nurses in General Hospitals in Xi ’an and Its Influencing Factors
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the general well-being (GWB) of ICU nurses from general hospitals in Xi ’an and its influence factors. Methods A total of 124 nurses from ICU and another 124 nurses from other departments of four Class III Grade I hospitals in Xi’an were investigated by the General Well-Being Schedule (GWBS) and its influence factors were analyzed. Results The score of GWBS from ICU nurses and nurses from other departments was 95.94 ±13.24 and 103.32 ±14.57 respectively (P<0.05);multiple linear regression analysis showed that establishment, shifts, title and gender were main factors influencing the GWB of ICU nurses. Conclusion The GWB level of ICU nurses was lower than that of nurses from other departments; great importance should be attached to nurses’ establishment, shifts and title, especially to male nurses’ psychosomatic health, so as to improve GWB and quality of life of ICU nurses.关键词
