Urban"Withdraw"Plan and Open Space Restoration:a Revelation from Eco-city Berkeley
摘要
Abstract
In urban planning and construction, open spaces restoration are mostly limited to the urban existing land-use. In his book"Ecocity Berkeley:Building Cities for a Healthy Future", Richard Register put forward some bold ideas and beneficial suggestions in the ecological city strategy for Berkeley. This paper studied and analysis in-depth on this strategic concept, and summarized five enlightenments given in the urban open space construction and restoration, included are understanding the urban nature history, paying attention to the importance of biodiversity value, recognizing the long-term of natural recovery, construction of the natural system integrity, and consideration of the urban lands transformation.关键词
