标识语汉英双语平行语料库的设计与创建
The Design and Compilation of Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Public Signs
摘要
Abstract
Being an embodiment of soft cultural power, the standardized public signs both in English and Chinese, to a large ex-tent, are the reflection of the management level and the international image of the city, or even the whole country. This paper intro-duces the design rationale and the process of compiling the Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Public Signs on the basis of a critical re-view of the existing study of public signs. The design and compilation of corpus includes the purpose, scale, criteria, representative-ness, sampling, data collection, digitalization, tagging, and alignment respectively. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference for researchers.关键词
