Abstract
Objective To analyse the clinic and pathological features of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neo-plasma ( GEP-NEN) . Methods Medical records of 15 cases of GEP-NENs were collected in the Cancer Center of Guan-gzhou Medical University from 2000 to 2014,all the pathological specimens were reviewed according to WHO 2010 classfi-cation of tumors of the digestive system. The data were analyzed retrospectively,and the clinical and pathological characteris-tics were summarized. Results Among the 15 patients,the median age at diagnosis was 56 years. More common sites of occurrence were esophagus and pancreas,CgA positive rate was 73%,the Syn positive rate was 87%. Patients with stage IV disease or whose pathology classification were G3 had a poor prognosis. Conclusion GEP-NEN has the very high hetero-geneity,clinical staging and grading are the major prognostic factors. To achieve early diagnosis and treatment,clinical multi-disciplinary cooperation is needed. Early diagnosis and treatment can improve prognosis of patients.关键词
